Tasting Notes: The nose on the Tenuta di Arceno Arcanum exudes ripe berries and sweet vanilla toast, finishing with hints of sweet mint and white pepper. The entrance is firm with lively and vibrant acids. The tannins are classic of Cabernet Franc, long, soft and supple. While not heavy on the palate, there is a potent underlying power, elegance and finesse. Dark fruits like black cherry and plums dominate the floral tones of rose and honey suckle. The finish is also classic of Cabernet Franc; slightly herbal, sweet oregano, cedar with a fresh, cool harvest, minerality. A structured wine that should age for 20 years.
