Tasting Notes: The Elena Walch Gewurztraminer comes from second generation female owned winery established by visionary Elena Walch. After studying architecture, she fell in love with wine while restoring a 17th century Hungarian castle. Her two daughters Karoline and Julia now run the winery who've continued their mother's quest for improvement. Unlike many sweet, perfumed or overripe Gewürztraminers, Walch aims for delicate aromas and freshness.
