This landmark wine is the first ‘Super Tuscan’ and was made privately from 1948 to 1967 by the Marchese Mario Incisa della Rocchetta, who had the dream to use the great terroir of Bolgheri to craft a blend that could stand with the great wines of Bordeaux.
