Estate History: Luigi Moio is the founder and winemaker of Quintodecimo. Luigi is the son of Michele Moio a historical wine producer in the Campania region, who in the 50’s relaunched Falerno. After studying enology and getting a Masters in Agricultural Science, in 2001 Luigi launched Quintodecimo in Irpinia in Campania.
Tasting Notes: The Quintodecimo Fiano di Avellino Exultet is grown exclusively with the grapes of one Fiano vineyard. Elegant and sophisticated, with an incredible luminous yellow color with green reflections and fragrances of linden, acacia and thyme. The wine is well structured with flavors of exotic fruit, citrus and honey all backed by a soft mineral note. There is a partial fermentation in small oak barrels that adds a roundness on the palate and increases the already great longevity.
