Tasting Notes: Amber-gold with aromas of dried apricot, fig, honey, toasted nuts and caramel. Made from grapes dried for months and aged in small barrels, the palate is rich and luscious, with fresh acidity and a long, nutty finish. Serve with cantucci, aged cheeses or nut tarts.
Estate History: Badia a Coltibuono is a former 11th-century abbey in Gaiole in Chianti, owned by the Stucchi Prinetti family since the 1800s and farmed organically.
